Rob Bennett
Born in 1949 in South Africa. Studied psychology and anthropology at Witwatersrand University, Johannesburg. Learned yoga, meditation, vedanta and tantra in India and England. Body-psychotherapy training with Gerda Boyesen and David Boadella in London and Berlin. Student of Karlfried Graf von Dürckheim in Rütte, Black Forest. Worked as a body-psychotherapist, trainer and couples therapist in England, USA and Germany for many years.
Contact improvisation with Steve Paxton, Pete Brooks und Linda Hartley in London. Initiated as a sangoma (traditional healer) in South Africa.
Trance and yoga workshops at congresses and in clubs. Special field of interest is non-duality and research into consciousness. Also the connection between healing, therapy, shamanism, trance states, intuition and creativity.
Life-long musician. Has recently taken to DJ’ing in clubs and at festivals.
Sessions
The connection between psychedelic experience and non-duality as taught by Sufism, Advaita Vedanta, Buddhism, Taoism, pantheism and many mystics. How for some, the psychedelic experience can be very similar to mystical experiences reported by practitioners of the above mentioned disciplines.

Techno Yoga is a very free form of yoga done to techno music. Originating at the World Congress of the Hedonist International in 2009, there has been a Techno Yoga session at every congress since then.
