FINTA-DJ-Workshop mit Sandix für Mädchen (Alter: bestimmt ihr, bis 16 Jahre?)
Der DJ-Workshop gibt eine kurze Einführung darin, was DJs eigentlich genau machen, worauf geachtet werden sollte und welche Technik notwendig ist. Hauptsächlich soll es um die ersten Schritte gehen, also: Wie schließe ich Mixer, Plattenspieler und CDJs an? Wie funktioniert Beatmatching? Außerdem geht es um allgemeine technische Grundlagen des DJing und deren praktische Anwendung. Ihr werdet in 2er-Teams zusammen erkunden, wie ihr euch dem Auflegen nähern könnt. Jede Frage ist willkommen.
Ziel des Workshops ist es, besonders weiblich sozialisierten, non-binary und transgender Personen eine Möglichkeit zu bieten, sich im musikalisch-technischen Bereich auszuprobieren. Deshalb ermutigen wir explizit Mädchen und Transpersonen, an dem Workshop teilzunehmen. (Cis-männliche Personen sind ausgeschlossen.)

Reclaim the Decks – What Does a DJ Actually Do?
A FINTA DJ Workshop with Sandix
This hands-on workshop offers an introduction to what DJs actually do, what to look out for, and what equipment you need. The focus is on getting started: How do I connect mixers, turntables, and CDJs? How does beatmatching work? We'll also cover the technical basics of DJing and put them into practice. You'll work in pairs to explore your first steps behind the decks. All questions are welcome – there are no silly ones.
This workshop is specifically designed to give female-socialised, non-binary, and transgender people the opportunity to get hands-on with music technology. We explicitly encourage girls and trans people to sign up. Cis men are excluded from this event.
