Acid Amazigh is an electronic music performance blending acid sounds with North African sonic influences to create a decolonial dancefloor experience. The set explores how rhythm, collective movement, and pleasure can become forms of resistance and solidarity
Acid Amazigh is an experimental electronic music project exploring the intersection of North African cultural memory, club culture, and political imagination.
The performance blends acid electronics, hypnotic rhythms, and North African sonic influences to create a dancefloor that is both celebratory and reflective. Inspired by diasporic club cultures and decolonial thought, the project asks how collective joy, movement, and pleasure can become forms of resistance in times of political and social tension.
For this contribution, the set can include live spoken-word poetry by a Palestinian artist. The poetry moves between personal memory, resistance, and hope, interacting with the music and transforming the performance into a shared storytelling experience.
The aim is to create a temporary collective ritual where music, poetry, and bodies in motion come together. The audience is invited not only to listen but also to move, participate, and experience how the dancefloor can become a space for solidarity, imagination, and political joy.
